Christmastime is here

The snow was present for a couple of days, but now the rain is pooring and the snow melts away. It is pretty sad but the Christmas feeling will not go away. However I hope the snow will return for Christmas.

Today I happily delivered a couple of my Christmas presents and it is delightful to see the happy faces when you put a gift in their hands. One of those gifts where a little late Christmas chalender, but that person had told me she did not have any so I just had to buy one. She got really happy and thanked me gratefully.

Tomorrow, me and my music class are going to have a consert in the local church. I am really looking forward to it. We are going to be there all day and not at school at all. There are going to be many Christmas songs and around 500 people(If it is full). I hope that we will make everybody feel the Christmas spirit.

Me and my friend Maren made a couple of "lussekatter" today, for our music class. Just to be nice. The last days have I been doing an amount of nice things, so I want to continue with doing something nice every day and hopfully write it here.

My internet life

Good morning. It has been a very early morning for me today, but now the sun is up and its time for a new task in International English. We got a task about different websites. We are supposed to choose our three favorite websites and then blog about them. I have chosen Youtube, facebook and google. I am supposed to talk about what I like about them and why I use them so much. I guess the thing all of those have in common is that it fits my interests and needs. Even though the sites has got things in common they are not the same at all:

Google:

Google is a website where it is possible to search for special keywords and then the website starts searching up every site and picture that has something to do with the thing you searched for. It is a very nice way to find whatever information you want. It is linked to other pages, like wikipedia, youtube and many other popular pages. If you use google it is also possible to find millions of pictures of whatever you like.

Youtube:

Youtube is very much alike google. However, instead of searching for every single pages that has something to do with the keyword, this page is used to search for special videos and clips that is put into internet. Everyone could put out videos, and there are not many restrictions for what people are allowed to put out there. Many people have used youtube as a key of famous. The reason for this is that it is very easy to put up a video there. It is just to get a camera, show your talent (If you have any), put it out there and hope for success. Youtube is also a free way of listening to music and watch clips from movies. The search possibilities includes all kinds of music, movies, trailers, educational videos and so on. Youtube is filled up with everything you can imagine, and it is super simple. Just write what you want to see and press enter.

Facebook:

Facebook has more alternatives then the other websites, but it has in some ways, the same function. Facebook is used to search for other people. People you know, people you do not know and people you want to know. It is also a very nice way of communicating with friends and family, either living close to you or far away. Facebook is a free website so it is also a nice, and free way of keeping in thouch with the rest of the world.
